Treena Peters MSW, RCSW (AB) RSW (ONT)

I have years of experience working within the field of Social Work, years that have included a variety of roles that have all added to my growth as a Social Worker! I have had the privilege of supporting both teens and adults in group home settings, many struggling with developmental delays as well as mental health and addiction, supporting adults with disabilities with securing meaningful employment, working within Children’s Services in various positions, including the after-hours emergency team (24/7 crisis unit), worked alongside potential adoptive parents and foster parents completing detailed home assessments and assisting with starting up a new rural counselling service after the 2013 flood. I am proud to have been running a successful private practice since 2020! I am also an Instructor at Bow Valley College, teaching 1st and 2nd year students working towards their Diploma in Social Work.

I am grateful to the variety of professionals who have taught me, mentored me and guided me along my journey to date. I really enjoy providing supervision and consultation to my peers and see it as a way of giving back to a profession I love.
