A big part of who I am , is , I’m a mental health professional, designated in the provinces of Ontario and Alberta Canada. I’ve been in the mental health industry for over 24 years wearing different hats. I am in my last stages of PhD as a doctoral candidate and hustling to complete my dissertation. I have two adult daughters, married to a first responder and have been in trauma recovery for many years.

Many have asked if I’ve been through significant trauma, and the truth is ,I have. From childhood, to birth, to narcissistic, to psychological and I could go on. Yet, measuring our trauma with each other isn’t what we should be doing. It’s about knowing that what you’ve been through was never your fault to begin with. It’s reconnecting with ourselves. It’s rediscovering our worth. It’s about allowing yourself to feel free from the shackles of hurt, pain and despair.
