About Me
I moved to Canada in 2017 from England, where I practiced as a nurse practitioner in renal transplantation and primary care. The move to this new location led to a new life and new career, with completion of the Masters in Social Work from the University of Calgary in 2020. Right at the beginning of the covid epidemic, I started working as a counsellor within a large community based counselling organization.

Approach to Supervision
My approach to supervision has been guided by the supervision training I underwent with Bruce Wampold PhD. I work collaboratively with my supervisees, identifying key skill areas we can develop together to improve the outcome for clients. Alongside this skill focus, the connection and support I offer my supervisees is essential to create the safety to allow vulnerability and learning. I work from a perspective of being comfortable with the not knowing as a therapist, bringing my own experiences and learnings to the supervision experience.
