Kara Peet – Clinical Supervision and Consultation

As a supervisor and consultant, I bring more than a decade of therapeutic work across hospitals, community mental‑health agencies, multi‑service sites, universities, and private practice. Before launching my own practice, I led a team of registered psychotherapists, social workers, and social service workers at a community hub focused on survivors of gender‑based violence.

I enjoy working with early‑career clinicians, those looking to feel steadier and more confident in their skills in meeting trauma in the therapy room, and therapists building skills for processing trauma. I also work with providers navigating high‑risk and complex cases, including those involving mandated reporting and/or safety planning. 

In Ontario, I can support members of the OCSWSSW and the CRPO, as well as other colleges working to build skills in psychotherapy. I meet the CRPO’s requirements to provide clinical supervision to its members.
