About Me
I have been in the Clinical Counselling profession for 33 years. I have been active in clinical supervision for 5 years. I have earned the CCPA, Canadian Certified Supervisor (CCS) designation and am working toward the BCACC, Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) designation. I enjoy the mentoring role of supervision and seek to establish a “safe place where people can be vulnerable,” (Henri Nouwen) and to grow in professional competence. I employ the Integrated Developmental Model of supervision with those new to the counselling profession and the Reflective Model with more practiced clinicians.

Approach to Supervision
I approach Clinical Supervision as an opportunity for professional growth and development. While focus can be on skills acquisition, it can also be a pathway for supervisees to build their counsellor identity and style of practice. This is done within the framework of established Standards of Practice and Codes of Ethics.
