About Me

Hi, I’m Bradyn Ko (he/they), a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist with over nine years of clinical experience in diverse mental health settings. My work spans private practice, community mental health organizations, and hospital-based services, where I’ve provided psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and consultation. I am the co-founder and clinical consultant of Patchwork Conversations and the founder of Saero Therapy, both of which reflect my commitment to fostering growth and connection within therapeutic communities.

My clinical practice focuses on supporting youth, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, OCD, and complex life transitions. I bring a client-centred, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and 2SLGBTQ-affirmative lens to my work, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

As a clinical consultant, I am passionate about supporting therapists in developing their clinical skills, deepening their reflective practices, and fostering resilience in their professional journeys. I have completed over 30 hours of formal clinical supervision training and meet the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario’s definition of a clinical supervisor.

Approach to Supervision

My approach to clinical supervision is flexible and tailored to each therapist's unique needs and professional stage. I aim to create a supportive environment where therapists can explore their clinical work openly, reflect on their experiences, and build confidence in their skills. In supervision, we focus on practical elements like case discussions, therapeutic techniques, and ethical decision-making, while also making space for self-reflection and professional growth. I believe that supervision is not just about solving problems but also about helping therapists understand their own reactions, challenges, and strengths within their work. I strive to foster an atmosphere of collaboration, respect, and curiosity, where it's safe to discuss both successes and struggles. My anti-oppressive and trauma-informed perspective helps us navigate conversations around identity, power, and systemic influences that impact both client work and our development as clinicians. Whether you're looking for guidance on clinical strategies, support with complex cases, or a space to reflect on your professional journey, my goal is to help you feel supported, challenged, and inspired in your work.
