About Me
I have 35+ years of experience in psychiatric/mental health and psychotherapy/psychoanalysis, across the continuum of care, in hospitals, community, and private practice. I have also taught Masters-level and Doctorate-level courses, as well as instructed Mental Health First Aid to the general public and in workplaces. Whether it’s helping individuals and families navigate the multiple systems involved in their care towards finding peace and comfort in a time of chaos, assisting couples through a difficult and challenging experience, or individuals who want to grow as persons, I offer a unique perspective which you can benefit from in supervision.

Approach to Supervision
I have a relational approach, aimed at forming and developing the supervisee's confidence, competence and capabilities to become a self-sufficient, safe and effective practitioner. I use a developmental approach, tailoring to the supervisee's needs, from conceptualizing each case through a multidimensional lens, formulating appropriate treatment plans, prioritizing and addressing "first things first", to discussing structure, frameworks and boundaries for their own, and their client's safety. I also offer consultation to therapists and supervisors.
