With over seventeen (17) years of frontline experience in counselling and mental health, I bring a deeply relational and wholistic approach to clinical supervision for social workers, psychotherapists, and qualifying interns. My background spans from community mental health, probation and parole, sexual assault services, child protection (CAS), and extensive work with victims and survivors of trauma. I also have eight years of experience in a post-secondary setting, supporting students both domestic and international through accommodations, counselling, and leadership development.
I have provided clinical support across diverse settings and populations, with a specialization in working with first responders, individuals experiencing PTSD and CPTSD, and Indigenous communities. My supervision style is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and anti-oppressive principles, centring the supervisee’s professional development, growth, self-care and well-being at the forefront.
I’m trained in a wide range of modalities, including, but not limited to: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, Somatic approaches, Polyvagal Theory, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My experience in group facilitation and workshop development spans both clinical and educational environments, as well as creating, facilitating, and presenting to organizations and at conferences.
Having completed over 100 hours of clinical supervision training, I’ve supported hundreds of supervisees from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. My goal is to foster reflective, ethical, and empowered practitioners who are confident in their clinical voice and grounded in their work.
